WHAT IT'S ABOUT
The areas of Porta Palazzo and Borgo Dora have been the subject of a preliminary study on public lighting in compliance with modern criteria guaranteeing personal safety, creation of a nocturnal image of city locations, rediscovery of urban space, contribution to improving urban space. The study, which places great attention on overall quality and seeks to offer different solutions with respect to the exclusive performance-oriented character of the current system, has as its primary objective that of not limiting itself to having a certain number of lighting units on the road in relation to a certain value of illumination to be achieved on the basis of regulatory standards, but to see light as an added value for improved environmental quality.
