"The Gate" Porta Palazzo Project has announced a competition for the refacing of all the facade elements of the buildings situated in the area of Porta Palazzo and Borgo Dora (see map attached). To increase the initiatives on the building patrimony, to offer more opportunities to the inhabitants of the district ensures that the requalification is more incisive and visible.
The Budget available allows for multiple interventions which, evaluated by a technical commission composed of specialists in the sector, specifically focuses on the requalification of the more dilapidated facades.
The projects selected obtain a contribution of 50% of the costs for interventions which do not exceed the figure of 200 million; for sums greater than 200 million a maximum contribution of 100 million will be made.

There has been presented 74 applications. Then, after the giving up cases, they came to 61 of which 24 have been financied by the The Gate Project, with an extimated contribution of 877.977 on a general extimated expense of 3364128.42 .
The Municipality of Turin has deliberated the 13th of November 2001, a contribution of 1.136.200 euro to satisfy the lasting 37 candidates, on the base of 2.525.714 of the estimates (those figures have to be verified after the final calculation, over the real expenses carried out by the owners).
