For 16 days, from the 6th to the 23rd December, Borgo Dora will turn into a wonderful scenery of colours, tastes and sounds.
The "Market of Christmas" of the City of Turin, it's another sign of the renewing of the area of Borgo Dora, that Edmondo De Amicis has nicknamed "the bowels of Turin".
The "Market of Turin" will have his heart in the charming scenery of Piazza del Maglio, with dozen of stalls. But the initiatives will take place also in the roads and the little squares of Borgo Dora with itinerants shows, oenogastronomic evenings, typical piemontesi products tasting; performances of gospel chorus and groups from all cultures in the world.
Three thematic week ends are at the program, workshops, mini-club for children, a bookshop, and a refreshment bar where taste the piemontesi specialities.
The market will open Friday the 6th December 2002, at 6.00 p.m., with the opening ceremony in Piazza del Maglio.
The conclusion will be Monday the 23th of December at 11.00 p.m., with the closing ceremony.
