Giuseppe Benedetto Cottolengo is portrayed during his daily charity work in a sculpture located in a niche on the wall of the quarter he founded in 1932, the Piccola Casa della Divina Provvidenza, which has hosted the sick and victims of social exclusion ever since that year and whose size and role accumulated over the years has caused it to be called a town inside the town.
