La Fede non è un concetto astratto, ma una solida figura femminile; non esprime fiducia e abbandono nelle mani di Dio, ma esibisce calice e Vangelo, a indicare l’ortodossia della dottrina cattolica. Il messaggio è rafforzato dalla statua simmetrica della Religione, sul lato opposto della scalinata che porta alla chiesa della Gran Madre.

Faith is not an abstract concept, but a solid marble statue of a matron that does not express trust and abandonment into the hands of God, but displays a chalice and the Gospel to underscore the orthodoxy of Catholic doctrine. The message is strengthened by a symmetrical statue of Religion, on the side opposite the stairway leading to the Gran Madre Church.
