During the first phase of the Covid-19 crisis, the voluntary doctors and nurses of the Henry Reeve International Medical Brigade worked for three months with professionalism, total dedication and great humanity providing medical services in collaboration with Italian health professionals.
Sceneries is the virtual photographic exhibition that the photographer Josué López Bernal is pleased to dedicate to the city of Torino and its citizens for the gratitude and affection they expressed with regard to the Cuban health care workers giving their support during the health emergency.
The exhibition describes the life of the Cuban people in their daily lives, their places, the colours that characterize the cultural and social identity of Cuba, unveiling undiscovered facets. In this particular period of struggle against the pandemic, the photographer offers us the opportunity to strengthen the relations between Torino and the Cuban cities through a fascinating virtual journey.
The initiative is under the patronage of the Cultural Office of the Cuban Embassy in Rome and in collaboration with AICEC – Agency for Cultural and Economic Interchange with Cuba.
