Contact: Mobility and Infrastructure Sector
Description: The project aims to test an innovative set of charging infrastructures, technologies and related business models related to electric mobility, ready to improve the experience of electric vehicle users, thus promoting the market share of electric vehicles in the EU. The project will seek to bring out the unconscious preferences of electric vehicle users by relying on the latest neuroscience techniques to adapt technological developments to users' subjective expectations. Five demonstration environments in an urban, peri-urban and suburban context will welcome seven use cases, focused on the innovation of charging solutions, on their integration into existing transport, ICT and civil infrastructures. To this end, the INCIT-EV platform will be developed, including a DSS and a series of APPs that meet the needs of users of electric mobility. Use cases will address the aspects of intelligent and bidirectional charging, dynamic wireless charging lane, long distance dynamic wireless charging, charging hub in a park, superfast charging systems, charging infrastructure in taxi lanes at airports and central stations. The role of the City of Torino is mainly focused on the development of use cases and on the field testing of the developed solutions, as well as on the definition of user needs.
