Description: The European Solidarity Corps offers young people aged 17-30 the opportunity to perform voluntary work for a period of 2-12 months in one of the 28 EU Member countries, in EFTA countries (Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway) or in any candidate countries. The main areas of activity are environment, art, culture, social services, youth, civil protection, development cooperation, protection of cultural heritage and sport. The services offered are counselling and support to candidacy, pre-departure training, support and counselling to local NGOs willing to get accreditation as host organisation. In 2019 volunteers worked in the UK, Finland, Lithuania, Belgium (2 partners), Spain (3 partners), Portugal (2 partners), Poland (3 partners), Germany, Sweden, Latvia, Romania, France.
