The European Network of Living Labs was founded in 2006 under the auspices of Finland’s EU Presidency to create innovation projects in many different domains such as energy, media, mobility, healthcare and agrifood. Today it counts more than 150 active Living Labs in 5 continents.

The City of Torino joined it in 2018.
