Deputy Mayor in charge of Public Green Areas Francesco Tresso joined the NEXT! Conference, an event organized in the framework of EFUA - European Forum for Urban Agriculture. During the discussion, Deputy Mayor Tresso shared the experience of the City of Torino, which is currently carrying out urban agriculture initiatives and innovative practices and which is involved in several European projects.
As part of the exchange supported by the IURC programme, a delegation from the City of Torino led by the Deputy Mayor for Ecological and Digital Transition, Environment and Innovation Policies Chiara Foglietta visited the City of Nagoya.
Mayor Stefano Lo Russo represented the City of Torino at the handover ceremony officially marking the start of the 67th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest, taking place in Liverpool on behalf of Ukraine. The Mayor held several institutional meetings ranging from culture to urban regeneration, from city branding to innovation.
Together with the Piedmont Region, Mayor Stefano Lo Russo led a mission to New York and Lake Placid, where he took part in the closing ceremony of the 2023 FISU World University Games. During his stay in New York, the Mayor held important institutional meetings, and was received by Mayor Eric Adams.
