The Mayor of the City of Torino Chiara Appendino and the Deputy Mayor in charge of Commerce, Labour, Tourism, Contracts, Procurement, Supplies and Legal Affairs of the City of Torino Alberto Sacco went on a mission to London on the occasion of the opening of the Italian stand at the World Trade Market, world's largest tourism fair.
During the inauguration the Mayor presented Torino's wide cultural and tourist offer, highlighting, among other things, also initiatives such as Mito Settembre Musica realised in cooperation with Milan and the calendar of the celebrations foreseen in 2019 for the 500th anniversary of Leonardo Da Vinci's death. The Mayor of Milano Giuseppe Sala, the President of Enit Evelina Christillin and the Ambassador of the Republic of Italy in the United Kingdom Pasquale Terracciano were also present.
The Deputy Mayor then, during a press conference at the stand of Enit, highlighted the strategy the city intends to implement to promote lgbt tourism.
