The Deputy Mayor in charge of Development, Innovation, Environment, Green and Public Hygiene of the City of Torino Enzo Lavolta represented the City of Torinoat the summit on climate held in Lyon. The goal of the meeting was to involve local governments in the process that will lead to the COP21 foreseen in December in Paris, by affirming the central role of the territorial perspective on climate change. The COP21, or Conference on Climate, is the annual meeting organised by UNEP to implement the disposition of the 1992 Rio Convention on Climate Change.
