The Mayor of the City of Torino Piero Fassino went on a mission to Brussels for three days packed with institutional meetings. 
On February 24th the Mayor took part, at the Italian Cultural Instituteof Brussels, in a promotional evening to present the calendar of events of ExpoTo 2015 as well as the excellences of our territory. The Jazz music of the Conservatorio Verdi of Torino livened up the evening.
On February 25th he met the Ambassador of Italy in Belgium Alfredo Bastianelli and then he gave an interview to journalist of The Guardian, Gazeta Wyborcza, Le Figaro, El Pais, Süddeutsche Zeitung, Le Soir and La Stampa. In the afternoon he took part in a round table organised by the European Commission on the role of Smart Cities in tackling energetic challenges, together with the mayors of Tampere, Warsaw, Birmingham, Ghent, Delft, Rennes and Florence.
Finally, on February 26th, the Mayor took part in the Executive Committee of EUROCITIES in order to discuss the possibility of joint declaration of the mayors on the subject of youth labour in Europe.
