A territorial mission including the City of Torino, the Piedmont Region, the Chamber of Commerci, Turismo Torino, the Piemonte Agency for Investments, Export, and Tourism, GAM (Modern Art Gallery) and the De Fornaris Foundation, led by the Deputy Mayor in charge of Commerce, Municipal Police and Civil Protection of the City of Torino Giuliana Tedesco.
The New York branch of Eataly hosted an economic and promotional presentation of Torino, during a typical Piedmontese breakfast, with speeches of the Deputy Mayor, the Consul General of Italy in New York Natalia Quintavalle, the patron of Eataly Oscar Farinetti, the Deputy Mayor in charge of Economic Development of the Piedmont Region Massimo Giordano, the Secretary General of the Chamber of Commerce of Torino Guido Bolatto. The tourist offer was presented by Marcella Gaspardone, Marketing Director of Turismo Torino e Provincia, that organized promotional initiatives at Eataly from December 9th to 11th.
Furthermore, during the mission a meeting for attracting investments was held at the Italian Institute for Foreign Trade. The cultural part of the mission presented the collections of Torino at the Guggenheim Museum and the inauguration of two exhibitions on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the De Fornaris Foundation: Dalla De Fornaris alla GAM - Arte italiana: protagonisti contemporanei at the Industria Superstudio and Morandi e Casorati in collezione De Fornaris.
