At the European Parliament in Brussels took place the Europe Gala Ceremony, official investiture of the City of Torino as European Sport Capital 2015, organized by the ACES Federation. At the European Parliament, the Mayor of the City of Torino Piero Fassino and the Deputy Mayor in charge of Sport, Free Time and IS systems of the City of Torino Stefano Gallo received from the President of the European Capitals of Sport Association, Gianfrancesco Lupattelli, the flag to be exposed during all the sport events in Torino.

Besides the Mayor and the Deputy Mayor were also present to the ceremony the Substitute Vice President of the European Parliament, Gianni Pittella, the members of the European Parliament Mario Mauro (Honorary President of Aces Europe), Marco Scurria (Italy), Ivan Catalin (Romania) and Santiago Fisas Ayxela (Spain - former Minister in charge of Sport in the Aznar Government), mayors and deputy mayors of other European cities awarded with the title of European Capital, City and Municipality of Sport such as Istanbul, the actual Capital, Antwerp (Capital in 2013) and Cardiff (2014).
