The Urban Center Metropolitano of Torino realized, together with the Technical University of Skopje and the Architecture Faculty of Torino, a preliminary study for the urban development towards south of the Macedonian capital. Main objective of the mission, which involved the City of Torino, the Urban Centre and the Chamber of Commerce of Torino, was then to officially present the study, on March 5th, to the Mayor of Skopje Koce Trajanovski and to his staff. The Italian Ambassador in Skopje Fabio Cristiani, also attended the presentation.

Afterwards, during the meeting, the International Activities of the City of Torino were presented and the text for an agreement to be signed between the two Cities was approved, dealing with city planning issues, cultural, economical and academic relations, environmental projects, tourism and school.

Last but not least the mission gave the participants the opportunity to establish contacts with the Agency for Investments and Economic Promotion of Macedonia, the Union of the Chambers of Commerce of Macedonia, the Macedonian Chamber of Economy.
