The Mayor of the City of Torino Piero Fassino and the Deputy Mayor for culture Maurizio Braccialarghe met St Petersburg’s governor Georgy Poltavchenko at the Italian Consulate.

The representatives of the City of Torino then visited the collections of the Hermitage Museum where Mayor Fassino and Deputy Mayor Braccialarghe signed a Cooperation Agreement between the Fondazione Torino Musei and the Hermitage Museum, represented by its director Mikhail Piotrovsky. Such agreement will favour an exchange of collections between the Russian museum and the Torinese ones. During the mission, other topics have been discussed, in particular economic and development themes with the perspective of further collaborations in particular in the automotive, energy and telecommunication fields.
