On October 3rd and 4th the Deputy Mayor in charge of Culture, Promotion and Tourism of the City of Torino Maurizio Braccialarghe went on a mission to Lyon to take part in the inauguration of the festival Lumière 2011 - Grand Lyon Film Festival.

In particular the Deputy Mayor took part on October 3rd in the première of the movie “The Artist” of Michel Hazanavicius on the occasion of the opening ceremony of the festival Lumière 2011 - Grand Lyon Film Festival, an important French rendezvous which this year hosts the National Museum of Cinema of Torino, as it decided to host every year a different cinematographic institution committed in the preservation, diffusion and restoration of historical films.

October 4th was instead the occasion to discuss with Jean-Michel Daclin, Deputy Mayor in charge of International Affairs, European Affairs and Tourism, Nadine Gelas, Vice President of the Urban Community Grand Lyon in charge of Creative Industries and Metropolitan Cultural Events, and Xavier Fourneyron, Director of Cultural Affairs, about cultural cooperation between Torino and Lyon.
