The representatives of the Council of Europe, like in 2014, chose Torino for their working sessions. The main one was the Interparliamentary Conference on the European Social Charter hosted at the City Hall on March 17th, then followed, at the auditorium of the University of Torino at the Cavallerizza Reale, by the forum, organised with the cooperation of the Council of Europe and the Chamber of Deputies, on the extremely actual subject of social rights. The goal of the event was to analyse the state of the art of social rights in Europe, as well as the risks represented by those countries who do not grant their application. The Mayor of the City of Torino Piero Fassino opened the working sessions of both days.
