Ten years after the event that changed the face and the fate of Torino, the Winter Olympic Games 2006, a celebration to bring back the intoxicating atmosphere the city lived that winter. The main event was the "White Nightof the Volounteers" on Saturday 27th, but all along the weekend Torino scheduled olympic initiatives such as the tour of the city of the five circles flag, the exhibition of olympic mementos at the Museo della Montagna, the visits of winter sport champions and Mayors of other olympic cities.
