The Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, La Stampa, ITC-ILO and the City of Torino organized on June 14th 2012, at the International Training Centre of the International Labour Organization, a specialized Forum dedicated to the impact of social networks and new media on diplomatic action and on the public opinion concerning international politics.

The issue, introduced by Alec Ross, Senior Advisor for Innovation in the Office of Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, and by the italian Minister of Foreign Affairs Giulio Terzi, has then been discussed by the Mayor of Torino, Piero fassino, the President of the Piemonte Region Roberto Cota, the Director of La Stampa Mario Calabresi and the Tunisian blogger Lina Ben Mhenni.
