The Mayor of the City of Torino Piero Fassino on May 10th opened the Myanmar Business Forum at Torino Incontra. The guest was the Shwe Taung group, one of the biggest conglomerates of Myanmar, founded in 1970. The event was organised within the framework of the cooperation agreement between the Chamber of Commerce of Torino and Chamber of Commerce Italy - Myanmar, and aimed at promoting commercial relations between Piedmontese companies and their Burmese counterparts. On the following days the Shwe Taung group took part in several B2B meetings with different Piedmontese entrepreneurial realities.
