The Mayor of the City of Torino Piero Fassino and the Deputy Mayor in charge of Culture of the City of Torino Maurizio Braccialarghe met a delegation from Nagoya, led by the Mayor Takashi Kawamura, in Torino to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the twinning between the two cities.
In Carignano square the celebrations of the "Nagoya Day" to show to the citizens of Torino the millenial history of the city through its traditional food, the arts and the calligraphy, origami, the ancient tea ceremony, the labs and workshops of Arimatsu-Narumi Shibori (traditional cloth dyeing), as well as some contemporary arts exhibitions.
