The Mayor of the City of Torino Piero Fassino and the Deputy Mayor in charge of Culture of the City of Torino Maurizio Braccialarghe met the President of Myanmar Thein Sein, visiting Torino with a governmental delegation which included, among the others, the Minister of Foreign Affairs Wunna Maung Lwin and the Minister of Information Ye Htut, in order to meet Piedmontese investors and entrepreneurs. On that occasion the association Italy Myanmar, the MAO Oriental Art Museum and the United Nation Industrial Development Organisation (UNIDO) organised an exhibition of laque objects realised in Bagan.
