The City of Torino participated, together with 200 other cities, in the workshop of the IAEC network on the occasion of the thirtieth anniversary of the Founding Charter. The Charter - founding document of the association promoting an idea of a city in which education represents an instrument of social transformation and improvement of community life - was presented in its updated version, to keep up with the changing social, economic and environmental aspects of the adhering Countries.

The City of Torino, on the occasion of the Educational Cities Day, celebrated the anniversary with a month of initiatives merged into the 'November, Education Month' event promoted by the Department of Education and School Building Management, with the collaboration of ITER - Torino Institution for a Responsible Education.
