The Mayor of the City of Torino Chiara Appendino took part in the official celebrations for the 60th anniversary of the twinning between Torino and Chambéry, upon invitation by Mayor Michel Dantin. Several events were organized in the capital of the Savoy department to celebrate the wealth and diversity of the exchanges carried out by the two cities over the years.
The City of Torino welcomed three delegations coming from the twin and sister Cities of Chambéry, Liège and Lyon connected to the project "Beyond the Walls - Models of integration". The delegations met the Mayor of Torino, Chiara Appendino, as well as the Deputy Mayor in charge of Youth, Integration and Equalities Marco Giusta and the Deputy Mayor in charge of Welfare Sonia Schellino.
The Vice Mayor of the City of Torino Guido Montanari and the Deputy Mayor in charge of Education Federica Patti met a delegation of Glasgow visiting Torino for study visits and meetings focusing on school integration, social and inclusion policies. Torino and Glasgow have been twin cities since 2003.
The Deputy Mayor in charge of Commerce, Labour and Tourism of the City of Torino Alberto Sacco led a mission to Seville, together with Sagat and Turismo Torino e Provincia, on the occasion of the direct flight between the two cities. The delegation took part in the promotional event Torino y sus Alpes and met Mayor Juan Espadas Cejas.
The Vice Mayor of the City of Torino Guido Montanari met the newly appointed Consul General of the People's Republic of China in Milan Song Xuefeng.
The City of Torino, together with the US General Consulate in Milan and Refugees Welcome Italy organized the public conference Resilience, Courage and Determination. Speakers of the evening Clemantine Wamariya, Rwandan Genocide survivor and US refugee, as well as some asylum-seekers and refugees in Italy. The meeting was moderated by Marco Giusta, Deputy Mayor for Youth, Integration and Equalities.

The Deputy Mayor in charge of Environment, Energy, Technological Development and Public Green of the City of Torino Stefania Giannuzzi welcomed 20 American students, taking part in the Rethinking Food Security: People, Agriculture and Politics study programmeof the School for International Training of Vermont, for a morning working session during which the food policies of the City of Torino were presented.
The Mayor of the City of Torino Chiara Appendino met a large delegation of the Finnish Parliament, led by the President of the Commerce and Industri Committee Kai Turunen, together with the Ambassador of Finland in Italy Janne Taalas, on a mission to Italy in order to meet institutional representatives and entrepreneurs.
Representatives of the City of Torino took part in the visit of the consulate of Vietnam in Torino of a delegation of Da Nang, led by the President of the Municipal Council Nguyen Xuan Anh. The Consul of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Sandra Scagliotti, the President of the Italy-Vietnam Chamber of Commerce Fulvio Albano attended the meeting as well as representatives of the Piemonte Region and of the main credit institutions and museums of the city.
The City Hall hosted the 4th international workshop of the European project NOVELOG New Cooperative Business Models and Guidance for Sustainable City Logistics, financed by the European prohramme Horizon2020, in which Torino is partner.
