The Deputy Mayor in charge of Museums and Cultural Buildings of the City of Torino Francesca Leon led a territorial mission to Madrid to take part in ARCOMadrid, an important Spanish fair on contemporary arts that eases the meeting of collectors, artists and operators from all over the world. On that occasion meetings with the City of Madrid and its main museums were foreseen in order to discuss new possible joint initiatives. 
The Deputy Mayor met the Director of ARCOMadrid as well as the Deputy Mayor in charge of Culture of the City of Madrid Celia Meyer and had the chance to discuss with the representatives of the main museum and cultural institutions of the city such as the Prado Museum, the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofia, the Thyssen Bornemisza Museum, the Mapfre Foundation, the Multicultural Centre Matadero and the Casa Encendida. During her visit the Deputy Mayor also discussed with the Ambassador of Italy in Spain Stefano Sannino about the initiatives coordinated by the Embassy to support the reinforcement of the economic relationships between Italy and Spain, to promote the Made in Italy and the creative firms and to strengthen the civil society exchanges between the two countries.
