The Mayor of the City of Torino Chiara Appendino took part in the Global Islamic Economy Summit of Dubai during the session Today's youth, tomorrow's leaders: scalable solutions to empower the next generation focusing on youth and reccomendations for making future national and international leaders grow. In the same session of the Mayor took part the Minister of Youth of the United Arab Emirates Shamma Bint Sohail Faris Al Mazrui and the CEO of the Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank Tirad Mahmood. During the mission the Mayor also met the Italian Ambassador in Abu Dhabi Liborio Stellino for an overview on the social, political and economic situation of the Emirates; the General Manager of the Dubai Hub Branch of Intesa San Paolo; the Secretary General of the Dubai Green Economy Partnership, Fahad Al Gergawi, with whom a memorandum was signed to commit the Administration and the DGEP to cooperate in order to give mutual visibility to every initiative, project and action dealing with the green economy; the Secretary General of the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Dubai, Mauro Marzocchi; the Consul General of Itali in Dubai, Valentina Setta.
