The Deputy Mayor in charge of Commerce, Labour, Tourism, Contracts, Procurement, Supplies and Legal Affairs of the City of Torino Alberto Sacco represented the City of Torino at the meeting of the EUROMED network, in Nice on November 3rd and 4th. EUROMED, a network of more than 100 cities of the Mediterranean area, is one of the main interlocutors of the European Commission on issues of common relevance, such as energy efficency in the cities of the Mediterranean.
On the occasion, the Deputy Mayor met Christian Tordo, Deputy Mayor in charge of Economy, Labour and Industri of the City of Nice during a visit to European Centre of Enterprises and Innovation of Nice Côte d’Azur and took part in the summit on Euro-Mediterranean cooperation at the CUM - Centre Universitaire Méditerranéen. He finally met the Consul General of Italy Raffaele De Benedictis, recently appointed to the French city.
