The Deputy Mayor in charge of Innovation and Smart City of the City of Torino Paola Pisano went to the Silicon Valley for several meetings with the responsibles of the project STIR - Startup in Residence of the Innovation Office of the City of San Franciscoand at the Center for Information Technology Research in the Interest of Society of the Berkeley University, in order to build new collaborations.
Paola Pisano then visited several Italian startups settled in the USA in order to analyse, discuss and optimise the approach of the city with such enterprises. During her stay the Deputy Mayor also met the Consul General of Italy in San Francisco Lorenzo Ortona. Finally, the Deputy took part in a training course on innovation, cooperation and positive disruption.
