The City of Torino was invited by the Chinese Associationof Museums to take part in the event MPT-EXPO (Museums and Relevant Products and Technologies Exposition) that was held in Chengdu, in the Sichuan Region. In a specific stand dedicated to the Silk Road, where Italy was represented by Torino, the delegation had the opportunity to present at an international level the Culture Stock Market, scheduled in 2017, and a selection of its museums.
The Mayor of the City of Torino Chiara Appendino met the German Member of Parliament Steffen Helbing, director of the Centre of Visual Communication and Culture of the Deaf of Berlin. The meeting was part of a study visit within the framework of the PRODIGE project, of which Torino is partner, aiming at studying how to increase the level of safety of disabled people in cases of emergency.

The LGBT Service of the City of Torino shortly presents some good practices implemented towards LGBT people who are asylum seekers, at the fourth edition of the Annual Meeting of the Rainbow Cities Network (RCN) - the network of Rainbow Cities engaged in local LGBT strategies to overcome sexual orientation and gender identity based discriminations - that takes place in Amsterdam on August 3rd and 4th, in combination with EuroPride 2016. The City of Torino took part in the seminar "Metropolitan areas international strategies" that took place in Barcelona on July 7th and 8th 2016. The seminar aimed at stimulating a debate among professional from Europe, North and South America, on the role of international affairs within the public administration (focusing on the governments of large metropolitan areas) and on the related strategies that cities have been developing in the last years.
The twelfth edition of the Report of the International Activities of the City of Torino aims at presenting the many international activities carried out in 2015: from the global perspective of the Third World Forum of Local Economic Development, attended by the UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon, to the bilateral meetings with Countries from all over the world, from the signature of important cooperation agreements with Luxor, Bethlehem, Maputo, Nice, Yangon, Gjakova, Ho Chi Minh and Tunis, to the new European Projects, from the several welcomed delegation to the work carried out within international networks. Those are just a few of the activities that Torino carried out in 2015.

The event, organised by the Chamber of Commerce of Torino, in cooperation with the Italian Chamber of Commerce of Sydney, the City of Torino, API, Unione Industriale and Ceipiemonte, aimed at portraying to our local companies the business and investment opportunities, as well as the tools needed to work on the market of Australia.
Artists from several Countries brought to Torino their different ways of makin theatre and perform, giving to children and adults original and often unusual experiences as a gift, on a trip that from the districts of the city reached the whole world. In the city and at the Casa del Teatro Ragazzi e Giovani Danish, French, American, Italian, Spanish, Romanian and Kenyan artists alternated on stage.
