The Mayor of the City of Torino Piero Fassino opened the 53th World Congress of Landscape Architects, organised by the World Federation IFLA, the Italian association AIAPP and the City of Torino.
Starting from the main theme of the Congress, that was suggestively named "Tasting the Landscape", four main issues were declined for the debate: Sharing Landscapes, Connected Landscapes, Layered Landscapes, Inspiring Landscapes.
