The Mayor of the City of Torino Piero Fassino and the Deputy Mayor in charge of the General Masterplan, Urban Policies and Private Building of the City of Torino Stefano Lo Russo went on a mission to London, together with representatives of the municipal administration and of the Piemonte Agency for Investments, Export and Tourism, to take part in the Investor Ready Cities convention and in the conference Torino: Investment Opportunities in a Transforming City.
Upon arrival they were received by the Ambassador of Italy in the United Kingdom Pasquale Terraciano. The following day, after a meeting with the board of the Investment Bank Morgan Stanley, the delegation reached the headquarters in London of Intesa San Paolo for the conference Torino: Investment Opportunities in a Transforming City, which foresaw an introduction of the Mayor and a speech of the Deputy Mayor. In the late afternoon then the Mayor met the local press, in particular Urban Times, The Global Urbanist, Reuters, The Guardian, New Civil Engineer. Finally, in the evening, the Mayor presented the ambitious strategic plan of the City and the governance policies carried out to support sustainable development and infrastructural investments at the Investor Ready Cities convention. 
Lastly, before coming back to Italy, on May 7th the Deputy Mayor met the board of Aecom, a global provider of engineering, architecture, design and construction services.
