The Mayor of the City of Torino Piero Fassino and the Amb. Franco Giordano, Diplomatic Advisor of the City of Torino, went on a mission to Geneva, in order to discuss about a possible cultural cooperation between the two municipalities. 
During their stay in the city, which hosts some important international institutions, the Mayor and the Ambassador took part in several meetings. In the morning they met the Italian Ambassador and Permanent Representative of Italy at the UN Maurizio Serra, the Representative of the European Union at the UN Mariangela Zappia and the Director General of the ILO Guy Ryder. In the afternoon then they were received by the Mayor of Geneva Sandrine Salerno and finally they met the Deputy High Commissioner of the United Nations for the refugees.
