The Mayor of the City of Torino Piero Fassino and the Deputy Mayor in charge of the General Masterplan, Urban Policies and Private Building of the City of Torino Stefano Lo Russo led a territorial mission to Istanbul, Turkey.  
On February 5th in the morning the Deputy Mayor had the chance to meet Zülfikar Bekar, Oscar Farinetti's partner, at the end of the presentation, organised in cooperation with the Veneto Region, of Italian Horizons, the programme of initiatives which will be realised in 2014 by the Italian Embassy in Ankara. In the afternoon the Mayor took part in the seventeenth Eurasian Economic Summit.
The day after, in the morning, the delegation presented the territory and then carried out some B2B meetings at the Foreign Economic Relation Board, while in the afternoon the Mayor and the Marketing Director of Turismo Torino e Provincia Marcella Gaspardone took part in the territorial promotional event "Torino and its Olympic Mountains", organised by Turismo Torino e Provincia in cooperation with the Italian Consulate in Istanbul, Turkish Airlines and Tursab.
