The Mayor of the City of torino Piero Fassino went on a mission to the U.S.A. to celebrate at the U.N. Headquarters, with the concert of the Orchestra of the Teatro Regio Rossini Tour, the conclusion of the Semester of Italian Presidency of the European Union.
During his stay in the U.S.A. the Mayor met on December 7th the General Secretary of the U.N. Ban Ki-moon to promote the 3rd World forum on Local Development to be held in Torino in 2015 and took part in the extraordinary concert of the Orchestra of the Teatro Regio Rossini Tour covered live by RAI at Eataly in New York, which was followed by an event of tourist promotion of the City. On December 8th he then went to Washington where he met the board of the World Bank, the Italian Ambassador in the U.S.A. Claudio Bisogniero and the Consul General Pier Giorgio Federico Aliberti. Finally, on December 9th, back to New York, he took part, at the U.N. Headquarters, in the concert of the Orchestra of the Teatro Regio Rossini Tour, the conclusion of the Semester of Italian Presidency of the European Union and he then met the Consul General in New York Natalia Quintavalle.
