The Director General of the City of Torino Gianmarco Montanari went on a mission to Amsterdam in order to set the basis of a future cooperation between the two local governments and to discuss organisational-structural routines of the respective administrative apparatuses.
During his stay, the Director could carry out several institutional meetings. On April 10th, after being received by the Deputy Mayor in charge of European Affairs of the City of Amsterdam Wouter Van der Heijde, he met several Directors of the City of Amsterdam, the board of the Metropolitan Area, the Amsterdam Economic board and Stadsregio Amsterdam. In the late afternoon he then met the Secretary General of the City of Amsterdam Arjan van Gils, the Acting Consul of the General Consulate of Italy in Amsterdam Ermelinda Calderaro and the PResident of the Italian Chamber of Commerce for the Netherlands Roberto Payer. On April 11th, finally, the Director General met the Ambassador of Italy in the Netherlands Francesco Azzarello.
