On the occasion of the mission of the Deputy Mayor in charge of Development, Innovation, Environment, Green and Public Hygiene of the City of Torino Enzo Lavolta to Iguaçu in Brazil to take part in the second World Forum of Local Economic Development, at the end of the event, former President of Brazil Ignacio Lula announced that Torino was chosen as seat of the third World Forum of Local Economic Development, by unanimous acclamation of the delegates coming from 66 countries.
At the forum, where technicians, politicians, local actors and representatives of national governments, companies and international bodies, coming from all over the world, meet to exchange practices and tools for local economic development, to analyse their links with national strategies and the global debate on human sustainable development, the Deputy moderated the session on October 30th dedicated to green technological innovation as a key factor for local economic development.
