The Deputy Mayor in charge of Labour, Commerce, Productive Activities of the City of Torino Domenico Mangone went on a mission to Barcelona for a study visit within the framework of the European Project Urbact Markets, financed by the URBACT II Programme. 

The mission, whose objectives were verifying the first project hypothesis of Torino and studying a worldwide recognised model in competitiveness and quality, in order to improve the markets in Torino, corresponded with the inauguration in Barcelona of the fourth edition of the Mercat de Mercats fair of local gastronomy products at the Boqueria. During the inauguration the Deputy Mayor had the chance to meet the Mayor of Barcelona Xavier Trias and the Deputy Mayor in charge of Economic Promotion of the City of Barcelona Sònia Recasens.
