Within the framework of the European project Central Markets, financed by the Territorial Cooperation Programme Central Europe, on October 10th and 11th the Farmers' Shelter market in Repubblica Square at Porta Palazzo hosted the first edition of the fair Cinema at the Market.

Cinema at the Market inaugurated on October 10th, with the show "Irma la Douce" by Bill Wilder. Befor and during the show the public was invited to taste street food and beverages selected by the Conservatoria delle Cucine Mediterranee del Piemonte while the restaurants of Porta Palazzo and its surroundings were proposing daily specials inspired by the market. During the evening Coldiretti Campagna Amica offered sangria and pop-corns. On October 11th a documentary on Porta Palazzo "Food Markets", realised by Stefilm International and aired on Rai5 as well as some episodes of "Racconti romani" were showed. Even the second day under the Farmers' Shelter there was a large choice of street food and typical beverages, selected by the Conservatoria.
