the PResident of the Municipal Council of the City of torino Giovanni Maria Ferraris and the Ambassador of Poland in Italy Wojciech Ponikiewski brough their respective greetings at the inauguration, on November 6th at the Torino Incontra Congress Centre, of the Polish days, a set of initiatives called "Festival of new technologies: discover Poland".

The key elements of the programme: a seminar dedicated to high technologies as a key factor for european and global competitiveness, a multimedia exhibition dedicated to Polish succes stories in the field of innovative technologies and two seminars in the fields of aeronautics and ICT, both foreseing B2B meetings.

The programme of the Polish Days also foresaw events for the larger public: an electronic music concert, a meeting with the Oscar prize Zbigniew Rybczyński with a review of his movies and a meeting/exhibition for students about the cracking of the nazi code enigma by Polish mathematicians during World War II.
