The Mayor of the City of Torino Piero Fassino led a territorial mission, which involved the City of Torino, Teatro Regio and Turismo Torino, to Paris, on the occasion of the representation at the Théâtre des Champs Elysées of Giuseppe Verdi's Don Carlo, led by Maestro Gianandrea Noseda.

Once again the opportunities, beauties and assets of the Sabaudian capital were presented abroad to attract investments and tourism. More in detail, at the Italian Cultural Institute of Paris the Mayor presented Torino city of culture and afterwards Maestro Gianandre Noseda presented Verdi's Don Carlo. While on the Torino-Paris train, together with SNCF, a cultural promotion of Tarino was organized: an ensemble of the Orchestra of the Teatro Regio played in the restaurant car and some tourist material was distributed in all the cars. The representation of Don Carlo at the Théâtre des Champs Elysées in the evening of April 28th was also a great succes. The mission also allowed several operational meetings with the Louvre Museum and other representatives of different institutions.

Mayor Fassino, together with Ambassador Giandomenico Magliano, also met President Hollande at the Elysium.
