• February 28th 2012 - Ministry of Industry and Commerce of Mozambique

  The Mayor of the City of Torino Piero Fassino met the Ministry of Industry and Commerce of Mozambique Armando Inroga.

• February 22nd-March 3rd 2012 - Mission to China

  The Large Urban Projects Service of the City of Torino took part in a mission to China, and visited the cities of Shenzehen, Hong Kong, Hangzhou and Shanghai. The main objective of the visit was to attend the International Conference on Urban Development and Innovation in Shenzhen and give a speech at the session named "Urban Transition and Industrial Innovation". The mission then continued scheduling several meetings with economic and institutional actors of the different local realities visited.

• February 22nd 2012 - Mayor of Riga

  The Mayor of the City of Torino Piero Fassino met the Mayor of the City of Riga Nils Usakovs.

• February 16th 2012 - Urban Forum - Brussels - Belgium

  The Mayor of the City of Torino Piero Fassino took part as a speaker in the Urban Forum 2012 organized by the European Commissioner for Regional Policies Johannes Hahn. The meeting was focused on the improvement of the urban dimension of the cohesion policy for the period 2014-2020.

• February 15th 2012 - Mission to Lugano - Switzerland

  The President of the City Council of the City of Torino Giovanni Maria Ferraris gave a speech at the University of the Italian Switzerland of Lugano to present the volume "Gli Svizzeri a Torino", which was unveiled already in Torino, during the celebrations for the 150th anniversary of the Unification of Italy.

• February 12th 2012 - Mission to St Petersburg - Russian Federation

  The Mayor of the City of Torino Piero Fassino and the Deputy Mayor for Culture Maurizio Braccialarghe met St Petersburg's governor Georgy Poltavchenko and signed a Cooperation Agreement with the Hermitage Museum.

• February 7th -8th 2012 - 2011 Nobel Peace Prize Tawakul Karman

  The 2011 Nobel Peace Prize Tawakul Karman has been invited to Torino where, during an official ceremony at the City Hall, the Mayor of the City of Torino Piero Fassino, the President of the City Council Giovanni Maria Ferraris and the Deputy Mayor for Equal Opportunities Maria Cristina Spinosa conferred her the Honorary Citizenship, awarded by the City Council. During her stay in Torino, the Nobel Prize took part in a public interview called "Peace and Rights. The courage of women".

• February 1st-5th 2012 - Delegation of citizens from Lyon

  A group of ten citizens from the metropolitan area of Grand Lyon, accompanied by two officers of the administration, has been received in Torino. They visited the urban transformations of Torino and the main initiatives promoted in the city districts.

• February 1st 2012 - Mayor of Jerusalem

  The Mayor of the City of Torino Piero Fassino met the Mayor of the City of Jerusalem Nir Barkat.

• February 1st 2012 - Ambassador of the Russian Federation

  The Mayor of the City of Torino Piero Fassino met the Ambassador of the Russian Federation in Italy Alexey Meshkov.

• February 1st 2012 - Deputy Mayor for culture of Lyon

  The Deputy Mayor for culture of the City of Torino Maurizio Braccialarghe met the Deputy Mayor for culture of the City of Lyon Georges Képénékian, accompanied by some representatives of the Ecole des Beaux Arts de Lyon.

• January 20th-21st 2012 - Missione to Wolfsburg - Germany

  The President of the City Council of Torino Giovanni Maria Ferraris gave a speech in Wolfsburg, Germany, on the occasion of the event "50 Italian Years in Wolfsburg" celebrating 50 years of emigration from Italy to the German city.

• January 14th 2012 - Vice President of the Republic of Colombia

  The Mayor of the City of Torino Piero Fassino met the Vice President of the Republic of Colombia Angelino Garzon.
