The Office of the Deputy Mayor in charge of Demographic, Electoral, Statistical services, Cooperation and International Affairs of the City of Torino welcomed to the City Hall a group of university students from Shenzhen, coming to Torino for a semester of studies at the Università degli Studi. The students are taking part in an exchange project realised by the Centro Alti Studi sulla Cina Contemporanea, financed by the CRT Foundation as a result of the collaboration relation which links the City of Torino and the City of Shenzhen since 2007. Such a relation brought also to the signature of an agreement between the respective Universities.
On Sunday April 25th, at the Concert Hall of the National Academy of Music “Giuseppe Verdi” of Torino, concert of the Golden Dolphins Mandolin Orchestra of Nagoya with the “S.Salvetti”Quartet and Amelia Saracco & Ensemble a plettro Piemontese. Master Hirokazu Nan’ya leads. The concert is promoted by the City of Nagoya, twinned with Torino since 2005.
The Deputy Mayor of the City of Torino in charge of Culture and of the 150th anniversary of Italy’s unification, Fiorenzo Alfieri and Monsignor Poletto, Archbishop of Torino met a delegation of the City of Chambéry composed, among the others, by the Deputy Mayor for Culture, Public Property, Tourism and Cultural Differences, Jean-Pierre Rouffier, the Deputy Mayor for International Affairs, Decentralized Cooperation and Disabled People, Isabelle Coudry-Herlin, and the Deputy Mayor for the Promotion of the Connections with the Enterprises of the City of Chambéry, Leila Oufkir, visiting Torino on the occasion of the Solemn Ostension of the Holy Shroud. The delegation was led by Monseigneur Ballot, Archbishop of Chambéry.
The Staff of the Vice Mayor of the City of Torino welcomed a delegation coming from the French region Val-de-Marne, including among the others the Member of Parliament and Mayor of Ivry-sur-Seine Pierre Gosnat, in Torino wishing to discuss about the scientific-technologic parks for environment like the Environment Park.
The Mayor of the City of Torino Sergio Chiamparino and the Deputy Mayor of the City of Torino in charge of Culture and of the 150th anniversary of Italy’s unification, Fiorenzo Alfieri, met a delegation coming from the City of Fès and Led by the Vice Mayor in charge of Culture and Sport, Hicham Chakour, in Torino wishing to discuss about ICTs and cultural policies.
The Deputy Mayor in charge of City Planning, Private Building and Public Property, Mario Viano, met a delegation coming from the City of São Paolo, led by the Deputy Mayor in charge of Urban Development Miguel Bucalem and interested in knowing more about the important urban transformations the city underwent during the last years and the metropolitan mobility system.
The Mayor of the City of Torino Sergio Chiamparino met the Ambassador of Argentina in Italy Norma Nascimbene de Dumont and the Consul General of Argentina in Milan Gustavo Moreno.
