  • June 30th 2010 - Delegation from Iraq

    The Mayor of the City of Torino Sergio Chiamparino and the Deputy Mayor in charge of Demographic, Electoral, Statistical services, Cooperation and International Affairs of the City of Torino, Giovanni Maria Ferraris, met a delegation of Iraq mayors and government representatives in Torino for visiting the ITCILO.

  • June 29th 2010 - Ambassador of China

    The Mayor of the City of Torino Sergio Chiamparino met the Ambassador of China in Italy Ding Wei.

  • June 24th-26th 2010 - Delegation from Bagneux - France

    On June 25th the Deputy Mayor in charge of Demographic, Electoral, Statistical services, Cooperation and International Affairs of the City of Torino, Giovanni Maria Ferraris, met a delegation, coming from the City of Bagneux, twinned with district 6, led by the Mayor Marie Hélène Aimable, the Vice Mayor Yasmine Boudjenah and the Deputy Mayor Christian Mensah, hosted in Torino for the thirtieth anniversary of the twinning.

  • June 22nd-30th 2010 - Delegation from Cordoba - Argentina

    The International Affairs Department of the City of Torino organised for a delegation of student engineers from the Argentinean city of Cordoba a study tour of the automotive in Torino.

  • June 18th 2010 - Ambassador of the Republic of Moldova

    The Deputy Mayor in charge of Demographic, Electoral, Statistical services, Cooperation and International Affairs of the City of Torino, Giovanni Maria Ferraris, met the Ambassador of the Republic of Moldova in Italy Rusnac.

  • June 15th 2010 - Consul General of France

    The Mayor of the City of Torino Sergio Chiamparino met the Consul General of France in Torino Véronique Vouland-Aneini.

  • June 13th-15th 2010 - Signature of a Cooperation Agreement with the City of Buenos Aires - Argentina

    On the occasion of the first Argentinian Tango European Championship in Torino, The Mayor of the City of Torino Sergio Chiamparino, signed at the City Hall a cultural cooperation agreement between the City of Torino and the City of Buenos Aires in the presence of the Ambassador of Argentina in Italy Italia Norma Nascimbene de Dumont, of the Consul General of Argentina in Milan Gustavo Moreno and of the Head of the Ministry of Culture of the City of Buenos Aires Alejandro Capato.

  • June 11th 2010 - International Seminar Med-Emporion

    The Deputy Mayor in charge of Commerce, Tourism, Productive Activities and Urban Marketing of the City of Torino, Alessandro Altamura took part in the International Seminar "In the heart of the city - reinforcing the link between local markets and urban development", within the framework of the European project Med-Emporion, of which the City of Torino is partner through the coordination of the International Affairs Department.

  • June 3rd-5th 2010 - Mission to Fès - Morocco

    The Deputy Mayor of the City of Torino in charge of Culture and of the 150th Anniversary of Italy's Unification, Fiorenzo Alfieri led a mission of the territory to Fès in Morocco on the occasion of the sixteenth Festival of Holy Music from the World and took part in the opening ceremony.

  • June 3rd 2010 - City of Graz - Austria

    The International Affairs Department of the City of Torino welcomed a delegation of roughly 30 citizens, members of the Europahaus of Graz, led by the City Councillor Nuray Richter- Kanik and interested in tightening the relations with Torino.

  • May 21st-22nd 2010 - Friendship Days - Chambéry

    On May 21st and 22nd the City of Torino organized in Chambéry a manifestation called "Friendship Days", within the rich calendar of initiatives realized by the French city on the occasion of the 150th Anniversary of the Annexation of Savoy to France.

  • May 20th-23rd 2010 - Italian-Albanese Book Fair of Tirana

    More than 7000 books sold during the event organized by the Fondazione per il Libro, la Musica e la Cultura of Torino within the framework of the initiative "Two nations, one sea, one friendship" promoted by the Italian Embassy of Tirana. The fair was originally to be held in April, together with many other events which were cancelled because of the eruption of the Icelandic volcano Eyjafjallajokul: a show of the School of Professional Training of the Teatro Stabile of Torino and of the Teatro Regio of Torino at the Opera House of Tirana (then staged at the Teatro Gobetti, in Torino) the ceremony for the bedding out of ten maritime pines donated by the City of Torino to the City of Tirana according to the project One Citizen One Tree, the opening of a desk of the Chamber of Commerce of Torino in Tirana (then occurred in June).

  • May 18th-20th 2010 - City of Detroit - U.S.A.

    The Vice Mayor of the City of Torino Tom Dealessandri and the Deputy Mayor in charge of Integration Policies, Ilda Curti, met a delegation coming from Detroit and interested in exchanging know-how, through technical visits, on large scale urban transformations, within the framework of the Comparative Domestic Policy programme of the German Marshall Fund.

  • May 12th-15th 2010 - Mission to Toronto - Canada

    The Mayor of the City of Torino Sergio Chiamparino led a mission, for promoting the initiatives related to the celebrations of the 150th Anniversary of Italy's Unification, to Toronto, in Canada. The delegation took part in the Business Excellence Awards, 2010, which every year are conferred by the Ontario Italian Chamber of Commerce to Italian-Canadian entrepreneurs who distinguished themselves for their work.
