The Mayor of the City of Torino Sergio Chiamparino and the Deputy Mayor in charge of Demographic, Electoral, Statistical services, Cooperation and International Affairs of the City of Torino, Michele Dell’Utri, met a delegation from the City of Changchun, led by the Mayor Cui Jie, visiting Torino from February 24th to 26th to deepen the recently set up relations.
The Mayor of the City of Torino Sergio Chiamparino met the Consul General of Argentina in Milan Gustavo Moreno. The celebrations in Italy in 2010 of the 200 years since the birth of the Prima Junta de Gobierno (Revolution of May) have been discussed during the meeting.
The Deputy Mayor in charge of Demographic, Electoral, Statistical services, Cooperation and International Affairs of the City of Torino, Michele Dell’Utri, and the Vice President of the City Council Michele Coppola met a delegation from Kazakhstan, visiting Torino from February 8th to 13th, for some studies concerning the Winter Olympic Games Torino 2006, looking forward to the Asian Winter Olympic Games 2011.
The Deputy Mayor in charge of Environment of the City of Torino Domenico Mangone went on a mission to Brussels to ratify the adhesion of the City to the Covenant of Mayors.
The International Affairs Department of the City of Torino met a delegation from the City of Changchun interested in setting up relations with the territory.
