  • October 31st 2008 - Guangdong District - China

    The Deputy Mayor in charge of City Planning, Private Building and Public Property of the City of Torino, Mario Viano, and the Deputy Mayor in charge of Demographic, Electoral, Statistical services, Cooperation and International Affairs of the City of Torino, Michele Dell’Utri, welcomed a delegation coming from the Guangdong district and led by the Vice Governor and District Councillor in charge of Urban Planning Lin Musheng. The visit witnesses a framework of solid relations between Torino and the Chinese district were the city of Shenzhen, with whom a Cooperation agreement is active, is situated.

    The Mayor of the City of Torino, Sergio Chiampariono, met the Ambassador of Kazakhstan in Rome Alma N. Khamzayev on the occasion of the inauguration of the new Kazakh consulate in Torino.

  • October 22th-24th 2008 - City of Shenyang - China

    The International Affaire Department of the City of Torino met a delegation led by the President and the Secretary General of the Advisory Political Committee of the City of Shenyang to discuss future chances of collaboration between the two cities.

  • October 17th 2008 - Moldavian delegation

    The Vice Mayor of the City of Torino Tom Dealessandri met a delegation led by the Moldavian Vice Minister for Agriculture Anatolie Spivacenco visiting Torino to start up productive, economic and commercial exchanges among Italian and Moldavian agriculture operators.

  • October 16th 2008 - President of the Republic of Albania

    The Mayor of the City of Torino Sergio Chiamparino, the Chairman of the City Council Giuseppe Castronovo, the Prefect  Paolo Padoin and the Deputy Mayor in charge of Demographic, Electoral, Statistical services, Cooperation and International Affairs of the City of Torino, Michele Dell’Utri, met a huge delegation of  politicians and  Albanian enterprises representatives, led by the President of the Republic of Albania Bamir Topi, visiting Torino to implement the relations among Politecnico, Università di Torino and University of Tirana and to start up common projects and commercial exchanges between the Land of  Eagles and the Piedmontese regional capital.

  • October 14th-18th 2008 - S.M.S. A.Meucci - Comenius

    The International Affairs Department of the City of Torino helped the S.M.S. (secondary school) A. Meucci in welcoming a delegation of teachers and students coming from several European countries within the framework of the EU program Comenius.

    Different Departments of the Administration of the City of Torino met representatives and technicians of several French participated enterprises to discuss the managing of waiting and parking in urban areas.

  • October 7th-08th 2008 - City of Nottingham - Great Britain

    Different Departments of the Administration of the City of Torino met a delegation from the City of Nottingham to discuss culture-related issues.

  • October 1th 2008 - Ambassador and Consul of Ungaria

    The Deputy Mayor in charge of Demographic, Electoral, Statistical services, Cooperation and International Affairs of the City of Torino, Michele Dell’Utri, met the Ambassador of the Republic of Ungaria in Rome Miklós Merény and the Consul General of Ungaria in Milan Géza Hetény.

    The Deputy Mayor in charge of Environment of the City of Torino Domenico Mangone met the managers of the “Animalité Urbaine” project of the City of Lyon to discuss the respective urban policies in defence of animals.

    The Mayor of the City of Torino Sergio Chiamparino met the neo Consul General of France in Torino Véronique Vouland-Aneini to welcome her installation.

    The Deputy Mayor of the City of Torino in charge of Demographic, Electoral, Statistical services, Cooperation and International Affairs, Michele Dell’Utri, met the Cultural Attaché for the Albanian Embassy in Rome, Visar Zhiti.

  • September 24th 2008 - Belgian Delegation

    The International Affairs Department of the City of Torino met a Belgian Delegation composed of officers and businessmen led by the Mayor of Kortrijk Stefaan De Clerck, visiting Torino in occasion of the display “Flexibility”, one of the main calendar events of Torino 2008 World Design Capital.

  • September 24th 2008 - Chambéry - France

    The Deputy Mayor of the City of Torino in charge of Culture and of the 150th anniversary of Italy’s unification, Fiorenzo Alfieri, met a delegation from Chambéry led by the Mayor Bernadette Laclais and the Deputy Mayor for Culture, Property and Tourism, Jean-Pierre Ruffier, to discuss the 150th anniversary celebrations in 2010 in Chambéry for the reunification of Savoy to France and the 150th anniversary celebrations in 2011 in Torino for the unification of Italy.

    The Vice Mayor of the City of Torino Tom Dealessandri met a delegation of technicians from the Katowice Airport visiting Turin to draw comparisons with their counterparts of SAGAT.

  • September 14th-18th 2008 - Mission of the City in Jerusalem - Israel

    The Mayor of the City of Torino, Sergio Chaimparino, was invited to the 26th edition of the “Conference of Mayors” that took place in Jerusalem September 14th-18th, 2008. The Mayor related Turin’s experience in the fields of urban transformation, sustainable transport, and industrial innovation.

  • September 10th 2008 - Torino International Summer School

    The International Affairs Department of the City of Torino presented its own activities to a group of students form the Torino International Summer School promoted by ETF, UNICRI, Istituto Universitario di Studi Europei and Università degli Studi di Torino.

  • September 5th 2008 - Norwegian Architects

    The City of Torino welcomed a delegation of Norwegian architects interested in visiting select municipal structures for insights on adopted technical solutions.
