The exhibition of paintings made by students of the elementary schools of Nagoya, staged by the Centro Interculturale and celebrating the twinning between Torino and Nagoya, comes to an end. Meanwhile Torino sent the works realised by the scholars of Torino to Nagoya, where they have been staged during the Sister and Friendship Cities Children's Art Exhibition 2007. The exhibition has been hosted by the Centro Interculturale from November 6th to 24th 2007 and from December 12th 2007 to January 31st 2008.
Within the framework of the 50th anniversary of the twinning ring among the City of Torino, Cologne, Esch Sur Alzette, Rotterdam, Liege and Lille, is to be reported as first event a promotional activity focusing on Torino as the City of Chocolate, during the days of the ISM COLOGNE, the most important confectionery fair of Europe.
The Mayor of Torino Sergio Chiamparino met a delegation of the Russian Olympic Committee for the Winter Olympic Games Sochi 2014 led by the Vice Minister for Regional Development Maksim Baystrv. The delegation came to Torino for some visits and technical meetings, with different representatives of the territory, concerning the organization of the Olympic event.
