Meeting on 26th October 2006 between the Mayor Sergio Chiamparino and the Mayor of Nagoya Takeisha Matsubara, in Turin with a delegation of more than 100 citizens of Nagoya in order to celebrate the first anniversary of the twinning between the two cities and to ratify the twinning between the Chambers of Commerce of the two Cities, the presentation of a stand of Nagoya at the Salone del Gusto, the presentation of a "portrait" of Nagoya and Shodo calligraphy at Atrium, the gala dinner at the Mole Antonelliana.
Turin welcomed a delegation composed of representatives of the Chamber of Commerce from Valencia and Valencia district, teachers and enterprises trainers for interested in the activities of the Assessorship for Sport Promotion of the City of Turin, in the activities occurred during the Winter Olympics and in the activities expected for the future.

A delegation made of twenty architects of the Royal Institute of Dutch Architects met the representatives of different City´s Departments on the occasion of their visit to the urban transformations realised in Turin.
A few members of the Olympic Games Beijing 2008 Organisation Committee met the Strategic Communication and City Promotion Central Service, in order to study in depth some aspects concerning the Olympic Games organisation and the recruitment and training of the volunteers.
A few members of the Twinning Cologne-Turin Association have been welcomed by the Town Councillorship to the Cultural Resources, on the occasion of the projection of a film concerning Turin, realised by the City of Cologne.
A delegation of architects and city planners from Hamburg, during their visit to the architectural works in Turin, met the Deputy Mayor in charge of City Planning Mario Viano, for a presentation of the City´s projects in this field.
A delegation made of about forty technicians of the Urban Development Department of The Hague, came to Turin in order to study in detail Turin´s road network and town planning projects.
The International Affairs Department organised, for about forty engineering students from Paris, a series of meetings in order to discuss about questions related to the Olympic event , about ecological architecture and about the urban transformations of the city.
The Deputy Mayor in charge of Youth, International Relations and Cooperation Michele Dell´Utri met a delegation made of politicians and representatives of the city of Shenzhen, led by the Deputy Major Zhuo Qinrui, in order to sign a memorandum of intentions for the cooperation between the two Cities. The meeting was also the occasion to discuss about future cultural events, as the exhibition in Turin of the Great Chinese piano Master Li Yundi, and about the next opening in Turin of a trade office of the City of Shenzhen.
A delegation of architects of the CAUE from different French towns met the representatives of different City´s Departments during their visit to the transformations of the city, with special care about the Olympic venues and about questions related to the town planning and the road network.
A huge delegation, made of nearly 350 between architects, engineers and researchers from Norway, took part to a series of meetings, organised by the International Affairs Department, to discuss about some Olympic Games-related ecological issues and about the urban transformations of the city and of the road network, with special care about highways and cycle tracks.
