• 29/04/06 - Mayor of Nazareth - Palestine

  Mayor Sergio Chiamparino met a delegation headed by the Mayor of Nazareth, Ramez Jaraese.

• 11-12/04/06 - Delegation from Zlín - Czech Republic

  A delegation coming from Zlín and composed by the representatives of the movie sector from the Czech city (including the Director of the Filmschool, the Director of the Student Film Festival and the Director of the International Film Festival for Children and Youth) met various representatives from Turin institutions, among which: the Deputy Mayor´s Office for Culture, Sottodiciotto Festival (Under18 Festival), the National Cinema Museum, Virtual Reality and Multimedia Park, Torino Film Festival and Film Commission. This delegation´s visit has been organised in the framework of the cooperation agreement between Torino and Zlín for the development in the movie sector.

• 29/03/06 - Ministry of Transport of Quebec - Canada

  A delegation from the Canadian region of Quebec headed by the Ministry of Transport Ms. Julie Boulet, which was in Torino for the XII International Winter Road Congress, visited the Olympic venues (Oval, Olympic Village and Ice Stadium) together with the representatives of the International Affairs Dept.

• 24/03/06 - Meeting with the Mayor of Paris - France

  On 24th March 2006 Mayor Sergio Chiamparino was received by the Mayor of Paris Bertrand Delanoë.
  In the afternoon, at the UNESCO House, the Mayor took part - together with the Deputy Mayor of Rome Mariapia Garavaglia, in the presentation of Turin World Book Capital with Rome.

• 7-8/03/06 - KEDKE delegation - Greece

  A Greek delegation composed by some members of KEDKE (the homologue of the Italian Municipalities National Association - ANCI), among which the Mayor of Plastira, Dimitris Tsiantis, the Mayor of Ymittos, Dimitrios Argianas, the Mayor of Agios Dimitrios, Pantelis Eirhnakis and the Mayor of Ancient Olympia, Ioannis Skoularikis, met Vice Mayor Marco Calgaro to discuss about the Olympic Truce, and the President of ANCI Piedmont and Mayor of Rivalta, Amalia Neirotti. Moreover the delegation attended some technical meetings about the organisation of the Olympic Games and cooperation among Mediterranean cities.
